If you go to the traffic pattern you can put traffic anywhere along the route. The only thing is by the time that you get to the place you will already have passed the train. If you want to put a train anywhere do the following, right click and move the mouse up, this will show you a goos picture of the track. Right click once more and select cosist, this will allow you to put a consist anywhere you want. But they dont move. The best place to put the trains are in sidings and in places were it wont interfere with you or other traffic.
Best of luck.
Best of luck.

I basically learnt via loading in original MSTS activites, such as original dash9 and acela activities, bought the MSTS book from amazon many moons ago. And just did abit of research. Dont want to put you off, but be prepared, as just as things are going great and you are getting the hang of things, things goes badly wrong. Tip: always back up when thing are going ok.
Notice I used the word things alot.

Hello Jonnie,
I purchased the MSTS book with train sim, again many moon's ago!! I have managed to add moving trains, sorted out times etc.
Just done a activity for Padd to Penzance route version 2.4.2, a FGW 166 Turbo (before the turbos were not avaible for download) from Penzance to Truro, and is working well!!
Even though I have created this activity, I can't keep to time on it, all of abit of fun!!
If you would like to have a look at this activity, send me a PM and I will give you the stock you need.
