Burton-Derby Activity Pack

The MSTS Activity Editor allows you to make your own activities, or missions, for the player to complete. This is also how you can get lots of other trains running while you drive yours!

I'm waiting eagerly for this.

Perhaps a trusted uploader could do the honours.

So, if you know it's a touchy subject and likely to cause flaming, why bring it up again?

I am a trusted uploader. If you think that you have a file that is so vital to the community that nobody can wait until the weekend; feel free to send it to me. I'll judge for myself, test it and take time from my life to upload it for you.

I reserve the right to bill you for my time and effort, at my standard rate of $175 per hour or part thereof.

Cheers

I didn't.........Ian MacMillan did.........as my post clearly states.... before you selectively edited the quote.

I didn't quote Ian Macmillan, I quoted you, being quoted by Ian Macmillan - no selective editing about it. Plus, Ian suggested it might be a good thing - then you went off about high horses and put in a link to the previous flamer.

And now.................. back to the original topic.

Very glad to see an activity pack for this very nice new route. A good chance to explore the route in a structured way. Haven't had time to run all of the activities through but a good variety and they all look interesting.

Now, my pet peeve. The steam AI locos are all the standard ones and not the AI (#) ones. I cringe (I won't say "hate" because that's too strong) when I see a traffic consist go by with the loco's wheels going way too fast. Usually I make the changes for myself (making AI consists and AI services and then replacing them in the activity) but there's lots of traffic (which is very good) and it's a big job, so I'll try to ignore the wheels when an AI loco goes past.

Agreed. The problem is that unless AI versions are provided on the route CD (always a good idea), it's not practical to use them in an uploaded activity.

Jim,

You asked for comments and you got them - positive and negative. No need to take offense.

Regards,

Bob.
