Noticed this one last night while fiddling about with Thames - Mersey that when the main AE window is open and you're not 'doing' anything i.e. the new service window etc is open that the AE maxes out my 2.4 ghz athlon. Oddly the CPU useage goes to 0% when you open the new service window etc.
Thought it was due to it being a big route but investigated with a couple of much smaller routes and found the same.
Has anyone else noticed this happening?

Happens on mine, I dont really take any notice of it to be honest, just as long as i can do other things too, such as surf the net for train times, routes etc.

Open Task manager and set the history to a long time....
Start any part of Trainsim. The sim, Activity editor, Route editor....
All take processor usage to 100% on any machine.
I have 2.0ghz, 2.4ghz, 3000 Athlon. and all max out with trainsim.
