Its causing some grief to me it wouldnt work and i get the 'send dont send message'

and i dont have the authors email? Anyone else had this?
When installing it said cant overwrite read ONLY but didnt say what file?

ok
when i installed it
it gets approx halway through adding the files and says cant copy over READ ONLY but it dont says what file read only??

If i trainstore the activity the rest works fine
if i try to play it it crashes before it loads

help

Hi Champy.
That sounds wierd, perhaps deleting it and putting it in again. if it says cant copy over a read only file, right click on your folders IE, paths, services, traffic, Consists, and trainset and select properties and where it says attributes there are a dot in the read only box, uncheck the box and try again.

third time lucky after unchecking the box and applying to the sub folders

wierd all the others i installed worked fine

Hello Champy,

I'm the author of timm-berrr. Sorry if it has given you probs. I don't know what is the cause of the overwrite read only report.
The only thing I can think of is, may be there was a coincidence in the naming of 1 of my, con, path, traffic, or service names with 1 of yours that as been ticked as read only file ? As U say Wierd !

But that is MSTS all over, I think it as it's own Burmuda type triangle in there some where. It does me head some times.

im still afraid that it dont work
but im thinking along the lines of a loco/wagon problem as others havent reported problems
it manages to make it to the end of where it says 'simulation' on the screen then crashes. I have checked all items concerned with the act including cabs/sounds, and all work ok. I moved them into my testing MSTS and they worked ok

Its very odd, all the others actvities i have for Cambrian coast work ok

Have you installed the Common.Loads for the wagons ?

yes i believe it to be installed correctly.
I have the commonloads folder with the loads in
i followed the read me and copied the folders in to the trains folder

route riter and conbuilder show no errors any where. I reinstalled the loads and all i can think it is is a path / service error?

I think i have cracked it
one was a rogue letter and the other
once i found the letter it then proceeded to chuck up missing files, which i can only put down to a crash during installation as the wag and first few files were there for the choc cream coaches but underfarmes bogies etc were missing?

just downloading them to re install and i m hoping to don my lumberjack shirt and be screaming timm berr at some point very soon
