Where have all the activity writers gone?

The MSTS Activity Editor allows you to make your own activities, or missions, for the player to complete. This is also how you can get lots of other trains running while you drive yours!

Well I would hazard a guess that like myself they have lots of ideas but this nagging thought in the back of their mind that "all this work will be of little use once (now probably if....) MSTS 2 is released"

Anyway I'm happy doing some painting at the moment

Unfortunately I'm guilty of packing up making activities due to theAE randomly packing up all the time. It kind of destroys the soul....

The London/Brighton route however seems to work a treat! Can't get it to crash no matter how hard I try!

It's not a random crash - it always happens just as you're happy with everything and are going to save in about 5 seconds time :o

I think that it was all of the speculation about MSTS2 that killed the initiative. Now we'll wait until sometime in mid 2004 and wonder where all the time went because it won't be worth it!!! You would think that these MBA's with all of their marketing smarts would be doing some advance hype work but then they're just regular working sod's, I guess.

It would be nice if MS would release a new patch to give us hope and to show that they understand where the basic problems are.

hmm.... Well i dont think i will buy Mts 2 as there dosent seem to be anything for the British market, its all foreign stuff!

But i will carry on writing activitys for Pat's route and hopefully Blue arrow, when that route is released.

The Swindon to highworth route will also be a good challenge to write for
when that route is out :D
