AI Signalling Blues !

The MSTS Activity Editor allows you to make your own activities, or missions, for the player to complete. This is also how you can get lots of other trains running while you drive yours!

AI Signalling Blues !

Post by terryhfs »

Has anyone else noticed the problem where you run through an activity in the editor using the realtime thing with some fairly complex AI traffic and all is fine. The you run it again, without making any changes and everything comes to an inexplicable hault due to an illogical red signal ?

It's driving me mad as soon afterwards you can guarantee that the activity editor crashes and you have to start again.

If anyone has any ideas then smashing, but I just wanted to howl at the moon over this as it's just happened to me again...

Maybe we should have an MSTS counsellor who can talk you out of potentially computer damaging acts ?

Cheers,

Terry...

The playback is worthless. Hardly ever to the trains runas they do in the sim. The only thing is to keep running it over and over till it works out.

Try turning down the expected player performance to about 40.
This normally portrays real life playing of the game in AE.
