Using Open Rails Path Editor in MSTS

The MSTS Activity Editor allows you to make your own activities, or missions, for the player to complete. This is also how you can get lots of other trains running while you drive yours!

Using Open Rails Path Editor in MSTS

Post by dforrest »

Is anyone else using the Open Rails path editor in MSTS?

I was having problems writing a path for a route with a very complicated track layout and decided to look further into the Open Rails path editor. I have found the display very much easier to use and am now using it as my main path editor. You can even save the section of a path after a point you set, edit the section before this, and then re-join the two.

Hi David,

I have used the Open Rails Path Editor quite successfully but have found that it doesn't like complicated paths where you keep using the same section(s) of track - perhaps I should have tried saving it first. I think that I will continue to use the MSTS Path Editor until such time as an Activity Editor is produced for Open Rails.

Regards,

Stephen
