Hi all,
Been writing an activity. Now, it involves two trains passing at a station.
The stater signal is some way off the platform, so whenever I get to the loop, the engine and train are sat out of the platform waiting for the signal to clear, which just looks silly!
I've set the depature time for the AI Traffic from the platform to 12:10, about 3 or four minutes after i've passed with my train, however the AI Traffic seems to just not obey this at all?
Any ideas folks?
Thanks,
Paul

The AI actually obeys the performance percentage (in the right hand column). If you set your start time and then tweak the performance figure for each station (less makes the train go slower, more, faster) you can get quite good timekeeping. After setting the performance figures press the calculate button to see the updated times at each station. It does have an annoying habit of crashing suddenly so keep saving as you go along.

AI ignores the departure times.
You have a couple of options - you can change the number of passengers at the platform to increase the loading time as that will keep the train in the platform for longer (it simply waits until loaded and then departs) or you can, with the aid of MSTBin, use a waiting point at the correct location to add the appropriate number of seconds before departure.

Hi chaps,
