Just a quick note to say that I have made a few changes to the model mainly to do with smoothing suggested by Paul. It is already looking a lot better so I will probably upload an updated version soon. It will be from this updated model that I will create the BR version.

Thanks for the comments chaps, I just wish I had the skills required to create more realistic textures. Its all very well having a loco looking freshly out-shopped from Eastleigh works but I would like to have highlights on the boiler etc. Part of he problem I guess is only having psp5 and lacking the skills to get the best out of it.

I would like to have highlights on the boiler etc.
Try using Shape File Manager/Texture Modes and then experiment with LoShine,HiShine etc. This might help a little.

Just a note to say that the BR version will be uploaded soon. Then the model will undergo a bit of surgery to produce the earlier versions.

Many thanks for a very fine model. Well worth the wait! I thought the textures pretty good, but perhaps a little lightening on the boiler a smoke box and tender raves might help. Or maybe a bigger texture for the boiler? I`m not a loco modeler, and I don`t mean to detract from an excellent addition.
Thanks again
Rick

Thanks for the comment Rick. Overall I am fairly happy with the texturing on this model, I did have a play around with some highlighting but never managed anything that I was pleased with. I may have another go though as since uploading I have noticed a few small errors with some of the transparent bits.
