Not trying to have a go at you mate, but you did ask for any suggestions - you never mentioned anything in your post about knowing about the line.

Looks good tho.

Im sorry Carl but you are bang out of order. In your latest post, you said " Suggestions welcomed".

Richard then made too suggestions, the colour is too light (hence he would like to see it darker) and the other valid point that the orange cant rail doesn't line up?

You asked for suggestions, and to me they seem like two acceptable suggestions.

Taken for a previous post, I showed some shot of Work in Progress, never asked for any feedback, but you gave some valid feedback on the colour. I did not moan about the comment even though I never asked for it, but you do not see me kicking off about it......I just changed the colour and got on with it.

Anton, i agree with you,
however, in this instance, I had already said in the thread that the colour was matched to My Class 170s. No-one said anything (that i remember) about the colour of them. And Arriva arent exactly going to change a shade of colour between the two, am i right? therefore i see little point in it.

I see where your coming from. Just remember at the end of the day it's up to you on what colour you release them, after all its your work. You're never going to impress everyone. I always go along the lines people see things in different lights. For example the monitors at work display images too dark for my liking. I have two monitors on this PC, one standard 17" TFT and another 19" Widescreen TFT thats connected via DVI. Move one image across and it looks fine on one screen, but too light on the other. If I was you, I would just fix the line and leave the colour as it is.

Watch the bad language guys... (which I've now had to delete twice).

Also, Carl, a reality check might be in order - If you ask for feedback and suggestions, don't be surprised if you get it!

Should anyone be interested, I saw a MML HST set running as a XC service up to edinburgh at Durham on Fri (25th). All stock was MML livery except the rear power car which was in the new XC livery, so it is in service.
