because untill they roll out of the paintshop, no one really knows what livery they are going to be in. for all we know they could be blue with bright pink spots all over

Hello Everyone,

Those 43s look very smart in maroon with the silver and grey trailers, I hope they do choose to paint the 43s up like that, somehow it suits them.

Regards, Doug

I totally agree with Doug on the HST as design and style of the livery done by Hyperen would look great on the prototype and the RS version might have some influence on the actual livery. It will be a matter of time before the real thing emerges onto the tracks wearing the new livery (probably after being MTU-ed). Then we will see some comparison's between the two versions.

The maroon seems darker in the prototype photo but that could be more down to lighting conditions than anything else - I assume you've colour matched it to the existing XC models so it should be ok anyway. Only other thing I would say is check the alpha channel - seems like most of the side has become slightly translucent (the outline of the chairs can be seen through the cabside).

As for alpha channels. Its an issue my computer has with shapeviewer, doesnt look like that in the sim.

Ah right, ok. Looking good then (although I'm no fan of the livery)...

Im liking the XC HST actually... I think it will look quite good when it's actually done... Mind you though, if it's taking this long to get a powercar done, and MK3's, then we dont have much chance of seeing a full XC HST Set seen are we!!

Nice Work Carl!

Any ideas when we may see the XC logo applied to the MK3's and the Powercars??
