The 3rd MN model. This version has straight cut lower casing around the driving wheels and a modified front fairing.

Looks very Nice, Dee.....I've always had a soft spot for the type mainly because my first electric train set was the Triang TT set with Clan Line and three coaches. :)

Any chance of a Rebuilt one? If not, how about Ellerman Lines because my father was an engineering officer with the company.:D

John.

Hi
Yes.... another cracker. :P

I also like re-built, but I fear that would require a totally seperate model.
The one that came with the Swanage was nice.

Cheers
Jon

Ellerman Lines I can do as I just happen to have the crest. I've got another unrebuilt version to do yet, with the casing removed in front of the cylinders - this will be in Brunswick Green, so I could do this as Ellerman Lines. I actually did a reskin of BATS MN rebuilt as Ellerman Lines, but the BATS situation stopped me from uploading.

At this stage I don't think I'll do a rebuilt. I agree with you Jon, that the Swanage model is nice and also I did several reskins of the BATS model too. I just thought that as the MN spam cans were missing I would have a go - and there are one or two other "missing" models I like that I think I might try shortly.

That'll do nicely Dee, thanks. :)

I take it that the BATS stuff is no longer available?

John.

Would you not be allowed to upload any BATS skins? :(

Hi
I believe those were the conditions imposed at the time.
However as BATs doesn't exist anymore, I don't know.
Cheers

I see, thanks for the Confirmation :)

Might be worth it to speak to TC and ask if this is still the case since BATS are no longer about.

I heard through the Grape Vine, that Tim Court might be releasing some of the Bats Southern Locos for download, like he has with the Electric Heritage locos. But that was back in January and I havent heard anything since. Maybe it was just a rumour?

It reminds me that when Steam Railway Magazine first came out, there was a rumour that the Government had mothballed several hundred steam locos and stored them in a secret location, should there ever be a fuel shortage. Believable at the end of steam back in 67, but it soon prooved to be just a rumour. :D :D :D

Hi Dee.
I notice that on the latest downloads for Railsimulator, there are a couple of Battle Of Brittain locos. One of them is Spitfire with the Golden Arrow attached to the sides and headboard. There are however similar locos available for MSTS, but I was just thinking it would be nice if one of your recent Merchant Navy loco's could be done in the Golden Arrow Livery. Any chance of you doing a reskin of one of them sporting the Golden Arrow emblems?
This could then be used with the Bats Golden Arrow Pullman Coaches. I know you are rather busy Dee at the moment, but if you could find a spare moment it would be much appreciated. :D

Geoff, I thought that the loco's were in a standard livery, but carried an arrow "plate" on the smokebox door and casing sides. I guess the best way would be to model additional parts for the arrows and either include them on a separate model or attach them by FreightAnim. I'm "bows under" at the present time, but it's a possibility for the future............
