I think i will leave the colour alone. Any darker and it will start to look black. I have to take into account the weather conditons in MSTS.

Carl, I dont think 'Prominent' would be the right word, as these means to stand out, how can you make plain blue 'stand out more'? I have already photo a behind the blue to give it a more steel look rather than just plain blue and again used the same technique for the yellow.

It's hard to get MSTS to reproduce the exact prototypical shade even with pictures and seeing the stock in person because, as the reference photos here show, different light conditions make the shade to appear darker/lighter and, at the end of the day, I believe the colours you actually get when you load the engine into MSTS are slightly different from how the texture file shows them to be anyway. I think I may've gone past the pair of locos once and seen the briefly, so I'm by no means familiar with them, but looking at the pictures and the model, it doesn't strike me as being noticably the wrong shade of blue.

Agreed. When I was doing 60040, I changed colours about 6 times, for 60074, about 8!

Anyway, Stunning models Anton!

I will try and get these uploaded very soon. I have been concertrating more on my commercial work over the past week, so these and a number of other 47s that I have completed have taken a back seat.

Another Fantastic model, just one small note, I notice you've named the folder for 47853 as "Class47835_XP64"; oooops
