Anyone fancy builing King Edward 1

Post by judith »

This is a real favourite of mine and a good (old) friend drove it while preserved, together with Union of South Africa and others.

He loves to have a go at MSTS and actually says it's 'pretty realistic' especially with the 3 cyl sound. It would be a real treat if I could set it up as a surprise for him.

Thanks,

Judith.

I have a king on the go now. A little while ago I did a fantasy GWR pacific that was on the drwaing board in the late 1940's but never built. It is basically a big King so I am intending t o use some parts from this to build a King. King Edward I is a good a starting place as any. I can't promise when yet though.

King Edward I has already been done, however you have to pay to get it. The pack comes with an A4 (Mallard) and 2 streamlined Duchesses and 1 or 2 other items, the cost is $40 (not sure of price in £'s). There is a pic of KEI at http://www.3dtrainstuff.com/products/uk ... eens5.html

Yeah, it is well worth worth the money :D as the cabs and sound are truly brilliant (and 3DTrainStuff are one of the few companies that are taking any notice of us here in good old Blighty! :D )
