First sorry for my English, came from Austria
Many Thanks to John Dibben for his class 42. Some time ago I opened a new Topic, Class 42 wanted! It seems that there was no interrest for this great loco, and now there are more than 90 downloads!!!!!
Again many thanks for this model

No interest - indeed? Perhaps that's because the TOPS class 42 doesn't conjure up the same image to the mind as "Warship"!
For information, the D800 warships were mainly used on former GWR routes from Birmingham downwards via Bristol T.M. - except on the two experimental Double-Headed Plymouth-Paddington services. During the late 60's and all through the 1970's, they were used between Waterloo and Exeter (with the odd '65 er replacing them occasionally) and on the Portsmouth-Southampton-Salisbury-Bristol-Cardiff working.
John - you've done a ceacking job. "Sir Brian" goes beautifully with my sleeping cars!
Thanks
Ian
