i know for a there is a 121 that could be brought upto the standards of 121020 and 121032 somewhere not too far away from the branch

its mainly the ride that concerns me, i have it from a good source that the ride was pretty awful from it, although i think that was the prototype. I can see it being very overcrowded though as at certain times in the day the 153 that used to be there was crammed (from what i remember)

(ive also got some BR Provincial 142s, BR Provincial 143s, BR Tyne & Wear 143s, Valley Lines 143s (and possibly a 142), and BR Western Region 142s waiting in the wings aswell)

Do these 143s use some kind of Maglev system? Mine have no wheels. Not sure what's causing it but I've looked in the .ace files and there's no sign of a wheel anywhere. Anyone else have this problem?

Hi Bob
Not sure ..... because I haven't run any yet..... but the wheels should be textured by '143d.ace'.
Having said that the wheel radius in the wagon section is given as '12.1in' ..... not sure but that may cause problems.
Also looking through the file they appear to be vacuum braked ?
Cheers
Jon

Nothing wrong here Bob, tested them for James before upload and just had another check now. You cannot see the wheels from the side because of the way the bogie has been made, not sure if its really like that but from an end view i can see wheels turning. I have had some odd results of late with alphers not showing right with a high setting on my graphics card, would that be the problem your end?

Aha, now I look very carefully I can see wheels. I was expecting two axles, i.e. four wheels per bogie but I guess there is only one axle, i.e. two wheels. Is that correct? If I kneel down between the tracks I can see a wheel on each side, with the right wheel on the rail and the left wheel inside of and below the top of the rail.

Bob.
