Hi All

Locos now uploaded.

Dave C

Yep I had the same thought about Waterloo, don't forget the stabled 6 wheel milk wagon which used to be brought in by a class 74 after first visiting the milk dock at Vauxhall.
What would be very, very nice would be the Clapham - Acton Yard stretch for the Chessington and Tolworth household coal trains.
Not really Dorset Coast territory I know but a route that is crying out to be modelled.

Cheers

Thats got to be the first time ive seen you use the word 'think' when describing doing something to your route
Usually your announcement to do something would be a screenshot showing that youve already done it.

Please dont say your losing your RouteBuilding touch

Seriously would be great if you did, with the combonation of these great 74s (well done btw crompton) and the EPBs (also well done crompton) the scene of waterloo would be set really well. :)

I had always thought of doing a BR version of the route once it is finished. It would be post the end of Steam as I do not want to try and add the extensive steam depots and yards to the route, but pre the Weymouth electrification and singling of the Moreton to Dorchester section.

So it would be fairly easy to remove the Eurostar terminal and add in the sidings again, double the Moreton to Dorchester section and de-electrify the Bournemouth to Weymouth section and replace all modern signs/branding with suitable BR equivalents.

Does that mean Southampton would get it's gantry back? You'd also have to re-connect the Eastern and Western Docks.....
