Hehe

I have to agree that your desiro Class 185 is pulling at my heart strings amigo .

EDIT! - I just bought the Class 150/2 pack earlier today from MT and I have plans to make some activities to use these. In particular an RR Class 150 from Northampton to Birmingham New Street set in 1992 sounds pretty good. Albeit that I was only 12 back then though.

Class 185 you made are in original Transpennine Express, not Diamanic Lines livery. Though not very relistic and detailed, this model (or improvise with Class 170) will do until Making Tracks released the Desiro Pack. Also you did the Class 360 for Great Eastern without First branding for what operates currently with National Express East Anglia. So, two models you did does fill the gaps (for Great Eastern anyway! :D ).

Cheers, mate!

Cheers, that was the intention. It's not perfect, lots of glaring errors, but its a start, and its there to give people a sense of completeness. I have made both of them version 1.1 so as to give them scope for later development.
Your 376 model on the other hand, glasgoworks, is magnificent. :D

You are quite right, photons66. The Class 185 model you made are not detailed, the cabview does not properly (you need to use train brake, which is not shown in the cabview) and the sounds are not well perfect. Class 360 has no cabview and sounds are alright, just like Eletrostar models or something.

On the other hand, there are the pics..

So, thats all I have to say.

As I said, version 1.1 so plenty of scope for improvement.

koopertrooper wrote:Exactly what I am saying! - A bargain! :D. Although looking at all of MT's beautiful trains it would be a great idea if you also had the option to buy the trains individually by download because to be upmost honest with you's. I am not a great fan of the southern electrics even though they are smart and modern looking but I much prefer the 185, 350 and 360 :). I would need the 350 for the West Coast Express route as I would use it in a few of my activity projects as both player and AI trains :D. Also I would need the Class 185 for the North West England V2 Route and Warrington as these run from Scarborough to Blackpool North. I understand that this may be a new idea for MT, but if they did have the PPD (Pay Per Download) as an option then I am sure this would gain them more online customers that just want a particular train for MSTS :D.
I'm building a Class 350 at the moment. I have done the DMSOA and DMSOB, so I've still to do TSO &TCO yet. When it is all completed, done and dusted, then I will release the model. This will fill an important gap on West Coast Express route. I will post the new thread about the Class 350 soon complete with progress photos. Sure you all like them!

To glasgowworks: Thanks for the into on that mate! I for one will sure look forward to this project of yours.

To photons66: As a thought, would you consider doing a photo-textured Class 185 using the existing model for the neon livery?

I would indeed koopertrooper. TBH, the reason I did it in that livery, was, well, erm, because I prefer it. Version 1.2 could certainly have it in the neon livery.
