Very nice work to both Tim and Michael, they both have captured the look of the 40 very nicely :)

Still plugging away, its amazing how much bogie detail a 40 has!

Getting there though- will fix the windows when I go back to add the colour honest!

Stunning!!! 8) Always wanted a Tim Court 40. Those ones by Mickoo are pretty stunning too, lets hope these make it... together with the ELR whistler pack looks like 40 fest fo me... :D

I remember that day on the You Tube clip  40058 on the Manchester-Yarmouth 3/9/83, I joined it at Peterborough my first 40 bash.

Fantastic as usual Tim.

One point....

The light source for the shadows on the front is top left but the sides are top right.

Ian thanks - I normally leave the light source and fix it when I do the texture layer, makes life easier that way

Finally finished the model externally, still a few tweaks to do though, decided to start putting some colour on the model now, again, still a way to go yet to add shading and weathering etc, this one is going to be new, then I'll do another one in green weathered.

Well I finally have it painted, just need to finish off some of the shading and get the textures blended then it will be ready to go, needs to be set up in the sim and all the boring stuff.

I intend to get a weathered one done along with some headcoded variants, this one has changeable disc codes a'la BATS.

I'll release this one then the others will be out later, right now I have a station to finish and a pile of 86's to wade through.
