Well after about 3 more hours of disasters I gave up with it and started again, this time using Ben Laws' original 319 and painted it from scratch. Got the files etc to work fine this time....

Just got a few more bits to do with the detailing and then I will check with Ben to make sure it is ok to upload it.... Hope this is what you wanted!

Surely when you take the file and load it up you can create a consist based on theone you have done? The problem I had with it was the difference in size of the files - mixing 512 and 1024 and also where the windows had been moved and loss of definition around the doors. I still have the original file and I have e-mailed you a copy of this one... In your zip file you also have some files that don't have names like clas319 but without an extension....

I ended up having to compress the files to make them a manageable size. The station is Leipzig which is on the boreder of Connex Metro as this shot shows...

Does this look real enough? (Courtesy of the SEG). I know you werenot being rude,, but then what you saw was not the finished article - as stated, I still had to do some of the detailing, such as carriage numbers, some repainting and the logos and finishing the front - but it was easier to leave your one in position as a marker as the 456 has South London Metro logo's on it. I just posted those as progress shots to show that I was actually doing it and not saying it :)

If the mail doesn't work - there is always carrier pigeon..... on second thoughts, don't mention pigeons....

Thats ok, you are excused! With regards to the repaint, there is actually nothing at all on the finished one that was from your original because unfortunately, I had to use Bens NSE 319 and start again because of the problems. As you were well on the way to doing one, instead of trying to get your one done, why don't you use the one I have completed and play about with it to create a different one - an obvious example would be to redo it into the 319/2 Brighton Express series - I am sure Ben won't mind and I am more than happy for you to finish it however you want and upload it yourself (with Bens permission of course). If you do that, I can get on with completing the detailing of the Thameslink Units. The Brighton ones seem to have just Connex on the logo so you will need to play about with the colours a little - if you want any advice on fading the yellow out towards the cab, let me know and if you really get stuck, I will e-mail you a jpeg with the colour graduation on it to use. :)

Are you referring to the City Outline grey version? That'll take a bit of doing! :)
