Hi, silly question time again.

How do you work out which passenger coach has the rear lights on.

Many thanks

Paul

to be quite honest that does depend on your consist, if you got a brake coach which you plan to always have on the back then you would naturally choose that coach.

It really does come down to your desision.

however considering the fact that im to be working on the coaches for the NNR pack, i have just come up with the idea of having a lamp on all coaches but making sure the whole object can be alpha'd out.
or to have the lamp as a freight animation.

sorry to be asking this question on your thread.

but what is peoples oppinions on this?

I've got a vague memory that it's possible to have the light on the last coach.

I might have saved something - in the meantime a journey to train-sim.com might be advantageous - Americans might know about these things; they use lights far more.

You don't need a specific wagon. When you define the lights, you set Unit (3 ) in the Conditions parameters in the light section of the WAG file, thus

Code: Select all

   Conditions (
    Headlight ( 0 )
    Service ( 2 )
    Unit ( 3 )
    )

Hi Paul
To answer the original question....it depends if the author has bothered to put something in the title to tell you its the last coach and contains a lamp.
Even then a lot of UK stock just has a red 'blob' , hovering somewhere near the end of the train.
The final problem with a lot of UK stock is they are setup for steam haulage, that is to say just on/off.
I uploaded a pack of lamps if your interested
