Class 37/6's (EPS / DRS Versions)

Post by jennings »

A little side project from what i was doing originally ... 37611 in DRS livery

I have used the model from Mark Shipmans 37259 as the base but have updated some of the textures to 1024x1024 to increase the detail with the grills (Which are from photos). The DRS colour has been matched to that used on Antons DRS 47s so it won't look out of place.

Its still a WIP at the moment but should be finished soon.

Very nice, any chance of you doing the other DRS 37 which is used with this one to haul the Serco Test Train around the UK rail network?

I plan on doing 2 DRS liveried 37/6s - The other one being 37610 at the moment (No screenshot to hand at the moment of it)

Back to the other project ... Got the go ahead from Jon Champ to release these as well (As they were based on his 37604 skin) ... EPS Class 37s based on shortly after they were overhauled a few years ago.

Just need to put the installer together and test it before uploading.

Looking very very nice! :D Just a little thing - the EPS ones have blue roofs (shade varies a lot depending on age)

Also, the DRS one should have Direct Rail Services on the lower blue square on the cabsides, not the web address as shown on my 37612

I spent so long researching these before I made my transfers, it'd better be right! :D

HTH

cheers

Your right with the DRS ones which i'll fix at some point.

The EPS roofs are blue (It just was a very dark shade on my photos). I'll have a look and see what can be done ...

EDIT: Sorted the roof on the EPS ones now which are now a dark shade of blue (Whilst leaving some of the dirt there)

They look great, maybe you should fix the typo on the EPS 37/6 shot though?

Very nice indeed! Wasn't sure I liked what DRS did to the fronts, but anything to keep them on the mainline is worth it!
