In order to give my repetitive strain injury an opportunity to clear up, I have been forced to suspend all loco building, it's a bit frustrating as the new 37 is beginning to look quite good, but I dont want to risk it turning into a long term problem.

I will be moving from London back to Devon next month and looking for a new job and house, so its a good time to take a break, i've been at it non-stop for 11 months now.

Below is the earliest screen shot I could find of my first loco dated 23/08/01, and my most recent one for comparison, things have certainly moved on a bit in the last year.

As soon as I have got my life in order, sorted out a more confortable working environment and my arms stop hurting I will be back in the workshop.

I doubt if I will be the only one waiting for you to startup again. If I can get my Blackpool Trams anywhere near the quality of your 55's, 40's and 37's I'll be very happy.

Good luck with the job and house hunting Mark, take your time with that strain injury, it's all to easy to ignore and pay dearly later, Loco building will wait :D :D

I fully support your decision to take a break, as i suffer from RSI myself. I've ignored it for too long, and now im paying for it with quite a bit of pain and uncomfort, even while typing this.

Although i think taking a break is the right thing to do, i'm not sure if i can control myself, with the thought of those 37's sitting waiting to be driven... ...

Good Luck with everything, i hope it all works out for you.

:)
