We need the L1 even more - there aren't any Southern Railway (or precursor) 4-4-0s apart from Kim's Schools and the T9 that I know of, so this will be very welcome.

Lots of steam and early diesels from 1959 to 1963.

I've always wanted 9466 - wasn't that the one that set fire to Bewdley Cutting? (According to UKTSLive)

Yeah, I was at the Bewdley UKTSLive stand when it happened. I forget who I was talking to at the time, but we could hear 9466 making quite a lot of noise so we went outside to see what was happening and saw the bushes glowing and smoking...

Hi Folks,

I'm a newbie to all this so I've got a bit to catch up :D

I'm more of a Great North and Caledonian man to be honest, but I do like the Jones Goods and I'll be downloading it when it becomes available. :)

Needless to say is there the possibility of a Castle to follow?

Keep up the good work.

Not if John is talking about a Highland Railway Castle! Very different beast from Collett's.

Yes - although the HR Castles are attributed to Drummond weren't they really a Jones design as well?

That is what they say, the finer design points were Drummond's but the basic design was Jones'

I'll have to dig out my HR locomotive plans book to see what's there. :)

Not bad for a Great North man :D
