i think the background blue needs to be a bit darker, and possibly slightly more purple

That background colour is a bit too blue - It does need to be the same colour as the current FGW barbie purple colour (According to the photos i have)
Other than that its looking very good.
Can't wait to download it

Like I said - it was literally an hour's work! Hopefully I'll be able to get some photos of the swirls soon. The one I used here is off teh old neon, with a pale blue overlay and quite severe modification

Well, I do agree that it looks a little on the bright side, but still looks good - will be interested to watch it develop

It's very good - but where is the shine coming from?
Also, I commend you for trying this livery as it is possibly one of the most complicated, but I am sure there is pink and stuff in the squiggles?
Nevertheless, very good for an hours work!

Apologies, not had chance to do much recently, sadly school and another MSTS project have overtaken at teh mo

Anyways, the shine is becasue its in shape viewer, and regards the pink in the neon bit, that was on the original livery,
http://ukrailrollingstock.fotopic.net/p35909104.html , not the later onem though I think I may have slightly underestimated the pinkness of the current livery. Anyway, shouldn't be too hard to alter. I have now added the pink coach letters and ATP signs etc shown here
http://great-western.fotopic.net/p37856068.html and I may upload a screen this weekend if I have time. Also, I've found a suitable sound set for the MTU locos, so when released, I'll include details of the additional download needed
cheers

Um, its going quite slow at the moment, but when I have 5 mins I do a bit here and there. The power car (the lead one, 43125) is done, and the colour I have settled on is the colour of the existing FGW HST, but with a more bluer tinge, because the existing colour didn't look right. I sort of have a half way house between the prototype and the previous model. Looks ok me thinks. Some people commented on the blurry textures on teh coach, I can't change this, because the 1024 wide texture does the whole carriage length. Its not two halves like most locos and carriages are
hopefully get a screenie or two soon

Well heres some more screens

Livery details

More carriage detail

I had the Barbie livery power car on the rear to check how the colours match. I'm happy with it.

General montage of body shots. The side textures use 2048s, so the detail is that much sharper now. I may do the locos too, but that depends if I can be bothered to redraw my textures again or not
Any comments on it so far?
cheers
