It should be soon. I'm having some issues regards an accurate soundset, but I'm working on it! :D The textures are done (I think, so long as no little errors have crept in) but reallistically another couple of weeks probably. It may even end up being June though, as I have AS exams through May and June. Hopefully get it out before though :-)

cheers

Nothing wrong with MTU power units, they're providing extra life for HSTs, which is what they're built for.

Are you going to do the interior of the train. Every Standard class coach should have only 2 tables and every seat in coach E should face one way (towards the disabled toilet end).

Looking Good

Unfortunately I can't alter the interior layout to First's money making layout, but I have retextured the seats (neon in standard, cream leather in 1st). Thats about the limit really, without a new 3D model. Don't forget, First haven't unveiled their low density sets yet (which is what the majority of the refurbs will be like) and from what I've heard, the layout to the those will be pretty much like previous one anyway

There nearly there! I have had very little time over the last few months due to exams etc, but I'm starting get back into the flow of things.
Having had one of the sets the other day, I will use photos as reference to retexture the vestibule - I did it cream, however its the same pink colour inside as the doors are outside!

cheers

You're doing a great job of creating my fav train.

Would you entertain the thought of creating a couple of locos and numbering them differently so that I could build up a collection of FGW HST's

I already have 43004 , 009 and 026 but was hoping their was any way that you could simply renumber without changing any other aspect of the loco.

If you can do this I would be very grateful,I'd prefer in the current livery rather than the new one.

Cheers

just been looking at the photos of your MTU power car, it doesnt appear to have the vents for the radiator along the side. They gonna be put on, or was the alpha throwing a spaz in those shots?

At the time I took those shots, I was still working heavily on the power car, and basically hadn't yet "cut the holes" for the grills. I have recently updated the roof grill to a Voith type cooler group (Silver/black mesh) and am working on the interior vestibules at the moment. Shouldn't be too long now. Just really need to work out what sounds are aliased to what (there are at least 2 sound sets, an HST oen for the stock, and an MTU one for the powercars)

cheers

Yep! I have done 021 and I 125. All the numbers are correct for the first set formed in the new livery, ie the 6 car launch train that the used. The way it is done is to give each PC its separate folder, rather than being in with the carriages, if that makes sense
