Nice, but I think those flats could do with some heavy weathering? How about an 'out of the box' version and a 'weathered' version?

I was thinking they were a bit BLUE

Must have been a dark night when I tested them.
I'll see what I can do.

I've only seen the real thing once doing about 60 past Oxenholme, but my recollection is that it was to Eddie's usual standards of vehicle cleanliness....very clean.

Loco and contianers, yes they are clean. Wagons however, differetn story!!!!lol Being owned by another company, they are rarely cleaned!
I have some photos of the real wagons, so could have a go at weathering them

On most flat wagons, they are absoloutely filthy. You can only see the real colour of the wagons when all the grime is wiped away to reveal the wagon data..!

Have seen some recent pics and you are absolutely right about the wagons. 66411 is starting to look a bit scruffy too!

I am going to retexture the wagon to cut down the amount of blue on it.

Problem is that some of the clean parts use the same texture as the parts that should be dirty.
Should not be a problem as there is plenty space on the ace.

I'll also fit Y25 bogies.

Hi Ian
I'm sure they'll look brilliant when you've finished.
Thanks for all the recent wagons...they are superb.
Cheers
