I was just wondering if any one was thinking of doing some class 37's to the same detail level as the class 40's that are being done at the moment ? And, not the same subject at all, but how do the emoticons work ? Do you just click on it, or is there more to it ?

Well an easy awnswer would be yes on both counts, Mark Shipman the creator of the 40's has some in his workshop which he shall be releasing after he completes the 40's.
The emotions indeed work just by clicking on the one you want, just put your cursor in the message window then click the mouse icon over any you wish to use. Use the preview as help to see it works and have a play!
Hope Mark doesn't mind me anwsering this question too much and I hope you enjoy the company of the community

I got a bit bored painting 40's, have you seen how big one of those things is ? So I thought i'd do something a little smaller over the weekend, there is still a lot to do but i'm quite pleased with progess so far.

At least my repainted ones won't have to do too much work in the meantime, with the replacements on the horizon!

On the contrary Basil, your job is to upgrade your existing paint jobs to go on Marks model

With BasilDD's repaints and my repaints, we'd probably have enough liveries to complete them all.
However. I think that i'd rather Mark do the repaints, as his previous work displays such excellence.
I think that with the release of these locos should come a full complement of 37 cabviews with all the correct nose liveries.

I totally agree - I suspect it will be a long time before my repaints can be compared with Marks. Until I have mastered graduation and weathering, mine are passable if you want an ex works version...!
BTW, thanks for the cab update - it really does make a difference

I had intended to release that update several months ago, but never found the time. I also promissed an update to the side views, though i haven't found time to do those either!
Not to mention the Brass Powerhandle..
And the various other 37s i decided not to do due to Marks new 37.

Another update.
Now has more photo textures and raised panels, plus glow in the dark cab interior, still lots to do like make round buffers and improve textures.
I'm quite pleased with this one, I think it actually looks like what its pretending to be.

Looking great Mark......can't wait to run it. BTW are you
doing both split and centre box models?
SteveS.
PS - Should be uploading some of your 25's within a week or
so using clickteam (sussed it now).
