The 'West Coast Electrics'

Post by Backfoot2002 »

Myself & Steve Enefer have embarked on a little 'West Coast Electrics' project and update the current Class 86/87 models avaliable on UKTS. We have started with the Intercity Liveries.

To start we have the Class 86 model by Tim Court and the textures done by Steve.

There is 86213 in Intercity Exec Livery:

And 86246 in Intercity Swallow Livery:

Next is the Class 87 model, orginally built by 'The Stoat' and then later upgraded by Bruce Bryant. Textures created by myself.

Here is 87005 in Intercity Exec Livery:

Hey Anton, now you know I love my electrics so call this feedback!

The black on your 87 comes too far down the loco, I could tell as soon I saw the cab. (I was glad on later variations when the they went back to a yellow front on the cab.) Also, the loco number is too big and I think the BR Logo is slightly too big too.

With the 86s, as the original models didn't have the cables on the front, are you able to add them?

There are the best screenshots of West Coast Electrics I have seen. What route there are taken on? I am looking forward to more shots. Sad that they are replaced by nasty Pendolinos.

Correction:
This is 86213 NOT 86231 in Intercity Exec Livery

Guessing here but 86 pics look like East Coast Express part two and the 87 pics I think are from Great Eastern.
