I photographed and travelled behind 47s on the North Wales Coast which is my local route many times which is my local line but they have been replaced by Voyagers and 175s. Have most 47 liveries been done?

Im not sure if it can be done because (i think) the cab windows at the far end of that shot are purple and the 47 model only has the cab window texture for one end (that is repeated on t'other)

i hope that made sense :-?

Hi
Yes the model would require some remapping.

Using one of the older 47 models, you can create the livery. I was going to do it, but never got round to it really.

I would definately be interested in that loco. I quite like that livery.

I have had a few goes at trying to reskin, but i have not got the hang of it yet!

I will prevail!

Cheers,
Terrone.

Have you had a look in the readme file for the engine you are planning on using ? I took a random 47 by Ian and the readme file says
British Railways Class 47 No 47401 in B.R. Large Logo Blue.
Version 2.0
29/07/02
Model and textures by Ian Jenkins
e-mail ianjenkins47 <@> hotmail.com

This model is for your personal use only, and may not be sold or distributed on a cd in any way without the author's permission.

To install this locomotive simply click on the installer which will attempt to find your
MSTS folder, failing that you can point the browser to the main MSTS folder.
This will install all of the loco files including aliased sound and cabview files and will also add a single locomotive consist file to your CONSISTS folder so that you are ready to drive straight away.

I can recommend the excellent cabview created by Alan Phillips and available for download
at http://www.uktrainsim.com
To install this choose the air braked version and simply install to the 47401/cabview folder
answering yes when you are asked if you want to overwrite the original aliased gp38 file.

Thankyou for downloading this model, if you have any comments or suggestions about this or previous/future models then please feel free to e-mail me.

If you wish to re-skin this model then go right ahead but please remember to include my name in any download files.
If you need any help then I will be happy to assist or you can post a question on any of the
MSTS forums where free help is always available.
Also see : http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic.php?t=58336 You are absolutely doing the right thing by considering permissions up front.

Cheers
