What's wrong with a 450?

Traveling on them is not realy comfortable cos they dont have tables [only in first class] the 450 was originaly designed for use during rush-hour as you may notice the 450 has more seats than the usual 4 car Emu

the 444's are like the 442s both nice trains to ride on great for a long journey the 450's become very uncomfortable after a while if your on them from weymouth - waterloo

All the Basingstoke - Waterloo semi-fast services are 450s regardless of it being the rush hour or not.

but they are all 450s on that service - so surely you would see a fair few!

Me too! Fortunately the Alton line has a few 444s running on it - so I always go for those where possible. (Ocassionally you get a 444 & 450 9 car desiro :D:D) With the increased amount of stops that the Alton/Basingstoke trains have to make after Woking, the 450s become very uncomfortable indeed

I noticed some 444s are now running Alton-Waterloo services, very rarely did before, nice idea though.

442s should do quite a lot of services to southampton which is nice as theyre my favourite and my most used route. Nice comfortable seating and good sound as you travel along, cant get enough of those motors :D

442s are good trains tis a shame most of them are being replaced by the 450s in sum places

I think we can basically say that 444s have run every route a 450 has, and 450s have run every route a 444 has. 444s have been on the Windsor lines, before someone points that out; on at least 2 occasions, I have seen a 444 at Weybridge running the Weybridge to Waterloo via Putney service, and seen a 444 disappear down the Windsor lines at Clapham.

Shame they don't give the Junipers more of a run, would give some variety even if they won't make it out of Clapham yard.
