I've been back at the drawing board

Post by cua193 »

I've been fired with enthusiasm lately & had a spurt of activity.

In fact I'd forgotten how to make Gmax work & had to read my own tutorials.

I've just uploaded 30582, one of the Lyme Regis Branch locos. I had 30583, the Bluebell loco, on the stocks but as longbow did such an excellent reskin of my LSWR loco I've changed the model to 30582 with the Drummond boiler. I'm using longbow's engine files - I'm OK with the modelling but get lost with the physics. Being a bear of little brain I've forgotten to amend the .s file so I'll have to do that & edit the file.

Almost finished are Bulleid 59ft 'shorties', some blood & custard compartment stock & half of a Bournemouth Set - the brake & open 3rd coaches are ready. I thought I had the reframed coaches for the Lyme Branch ready but I'd made a basic error - not enough research. I have the info now & have to paint out the mask for 100+ windows.

edit
Just uploaded the amended file - didn't think it would be approved that quickly.

The change to the .s file is to change the animation rate from "16 30" to "16 60" - brain fade I'm afraid. I also changed the .eng file - water pick to "-4.063 3.062" - remembered to model the water filler on this version.

I'll try to finish & upload Southern 0520 this weekend.

Richard
