New Liveried Class 31s coming soon

Post by Hymek »

I have textured Chris Baileys 31 model (again, i know  ) into two new liveries. One is 31101 in its kind of Half BR Blue, Half Railfreight livery as it carried in 1991, and 31112 in Transrail Dutch livery. both are out being tested and fingers crossed should be released soon (i'll post some screenies when they are almost ready to go up)

Loving 101! What a brilliantly random motley bunch of liveries they slapped on the peds over the years..

yeah, there were quite a few one off liveries and new paintjob based on one or more existing ones (like 101 and 413).

Im also pondering finishing off the Research set with 97203 and 204 after these as well as trying to do 31116 if anyone is interested in them

the plan with 97203 and 97204 is that 97204 will just be a straight renumber while 97203 will be in the guise around 1987 where the black stripe along the side wasnt extended onto the cabside and around the front, just to make it a bit different from the other two

Hi David
I wouldn't mind those side textures...before you 'clean them up'..please.
As they would look great on some mid sixties working class31s.
Cheers
Jon

I did a quick reskin of D5600 off the ELR..to correct the windows, and started a yellow panelled version...but only for private use... as per Chris Bailey's wishes.

PS Hopefully be able to upload the 2 I'm doing after the weekend...followed by the 70s blue ones I'm doing.
