nice model. But as eddief says, 10001 is necessary...

Can do 10001 as well, it did not have the LMS legend and both 10000 and 10001 ran quite a number of services in multiple.

Excellent model....one of the pioneers thats been needed for a long while.
Brilliant to run as a pair over the Thames Mersey route.
Will really look forwards to downloading.

Did we ever get to the bottom of what sound files would be best to use with these eagerly awaited models? The consensus seemed to be that the Class 40 engine has too distinctive a turbocharger sound to represent the LMS version, the 37 has four too few cylinders and so will sound too "lumpy", but someone suggested the Class 50 might be a possibility.
Perhaps there might be a use for the default Kuju 50 sounds after all?

I think a refurbed 50 is probably the way to go (as apparently they sounded very different to the un-refurbed ones, which had a distinctive "sucking" sound that gave them the nickname 'hoovers' - never heard one myself so I can't comment).
10201 and 10202 had the same PU, and I think they will be on BA's southern pack. 10203 had the same 2000hp 16SVT as a 40. So if BA have done a separate sound set for them, the sounds from 10201/2 would be appropriate, provided they are right. Where they got those sounds from is another matter entirely!
In fact, the twins had a time on the southern (based at Nine Elms I believe) working with the bullieds, so they'll be at home on the route that comes with the BA southern pack too.

For the sounds...I would suggest the DP2 set is fairly spot on.
These are the sounds I currently use for 10200/10201.
Hopefully the new BATs versions will have custom sounds, however this isn't a strong area for BA.
Cheers

But only one horn... as in your model, no two tones in those far off days... probably the first diesels to have a horn rather than a whistle anyway!

Very nice indeed. I started to have a bash long ago, but that just looks spot on.
Looking forward to giving them a good thrash along Thames Mersey!
