the main difference that I use to differentiate between 08 and 11 is the "forward" cab windows - rectangular on the 11, but on the 08 the bottom follows the line of the fuel tank (so it has a triangle tacked on the bottom of the 11's window).

I think that the internal bits are pretty much identical with the 08, 11 and 12, and it's only exernally that there are a few slight differences. LMS has smaller wheels than 12 and 08, and the 12 has bulleid wheels.

Oh, and the Bulleid diesels 10201 etc were designed and approved before the twins, and the twins only emerged first because Ivatt was desperate for 10000 to carry LMS lettering (well, it might have been some director or other, but I read that it was Ivatt) so they rushed it through to get it out in time.

Looking at Keiths postings in the past, He only pops up once a year, so maybe we will have to wait till next year....Wasn't somebody else working on a 10000 model, and while we'er on the subject what ever happened to the "Hawk" model...wern't you involved with that Jon?

If you mean the model of Hawk that I was building and the Jon very kindly did the cab view for, I actually thought I had uploaded it, but on further investigation it is finished and still sat on my Hdd.

I will get it packaged up and uploaded this week.
Sorry!
