Steam crane

Post by eyore »

Building a 1925 route which includes a dock area. At this time I believe the dock cranes were similar to these at Falmouth.

<IMG width="500" height="285" SRC="http://www.atomic-album.com/showPic.php ... kcrane.jpg">

Would anyone be interested in building one, or be able to provide dimensions etc so I can have a go with my own poor skills?

Thanks for the offer.

I have only ever seen one photo of the original cranes in the dock (Workington) hence the part of my post asking for further details but I will try and track down additional info.

With regard to urgency, my route is months from completion, so no panic.
