Why is my train driver invisible when he is inside his cab??

I have created a really handsome chap as a train driver in a good old BR blue uniform as designed by Hardy Amies (I think).

Sadly, when I add him to my diesel loco with "Freightanim", he is invisible when viewed through the cab windows.

Why and how do I fix it?

I have tried making him out of alphanorm, alphanorm+ and alphanorm- but to no avail, he is still invisible when viewed through the glass.

Also, what do the three variables in parenthesis in the "Freightanim" line after the *.s file mean? I have changed these around and the only way I got my driver to move from being buried undet the loco at the origin was to shift the origin of the Freightanim item Main part.

Er... that looks about as clear as mud to me but I understand it.

Its more likely to do with the glass than the driver model.

If you make him solid something, it should show.

The three variables in parenthesis have no effect on static animations (?), they only effect truly animated animations such as coal in tenders.

I tried making it "Solidnorm".

No good... the driver is still invisible.

It works with the driver as apart of the model - and I usually do my crews as freightanim, which works too. However, I usually use trans instead of aplpha textures... I'll have a play with it.
