Nene Valley Thompson B1

Post by RobertM »

To all,

I have resently bought the Nene Valley Railway for MSTS, the problem is the Thompson B1. When I drive it the wheels are doing twice the number of reverlutions than it should do!

Any ideas?

Hi,

The problem is probably down to the fact you are opening up the regulator, most locos skid from start-up from just over 50%, one or two skid at 10%.

Nope, its a problem with most of the NVR's locos, in fact most of the authors steam engines. He has set up the animation for the wheels wrong, and requires editing the .s file to sort it out.

The wheels on the bullied look to go almost to slow, but i think it looks better than many other locos, looks like its only going 25mph then!
Thanks
