Hi,
Has anyone started, in progress of making, or got a model for MSTS of J36 Maude? I really want the loco for MSTS as I have seen her many times on the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway on seasonly visits and I think it would great to have her running along in MSTS

Dunno, if not, how about seeking and collecting photos, info and plans and then offering them, to help someone help you, and all of us????

Regards,

dave

Here is 2 links:

That one is a picture of it in its NBR livery

Click on the link on my sig and you will see the SRPS homepage, go onto the B&KR page and click on the loco link, Maude is there in B.R livery

I will get some more, unless these are already what you need

Here is another link to a webpage with many pics of Maude in both BR and NBR liveries

And another at this guy's site. The first couple of pics are about his family but towards the bottom of the page are a couple of pics of Maude ( and a J27 ):

I think if you really want one, you've got to be prepared to do more than supply a few websites...you've got to at least:

1) Find some drawings showing dimensions.
2) Take several detailed pictures of nearly every single piece of the loco ;)

Shouldn't take you that long to learn how to build it yourself.

Seconded, and spot on, David.............Jonathon, don't take this personally, but it's quite common for existing builders to get "requests"......I get maybe one a month via Email, apart from the Forum Posts.........I have at least five years work in hand, and that's the stuff I WANT to do and DO have plans and sufficient data/photos for.....(OOOPS, Don't tell Brian!!).......I doubt I'm that unusual :o ....so why should anyone drop all their plans when absolutely no help/assist is provided??? :-?

People who cannot build models (and they should still try, as Ian suggests!!) can still contribute big time IF they are serious.................
