Class 37 centre headcode .s file

Post by ollie »

Hello,

I have just uploaded a dirty 37031 in BR Blue livery and it got me thinking.

Does anybody have or can create an s. file for a centrebox 37 without skirts with NO headlight, as I cant seem to find one.

I have tried my hand with no sucess at 3d modelling.

I dont think it is possible (at the moment) to do a blue centre box 37 with no skirts and no headlight.

I would be quite happy to put the locos 'toghether' texture wise.

Also is a 37\5 front possible without the headlight so a blue 37100 could be done.

Just a couple of ideas

Cheers,

Ollie

Skirts are the panel's around the buffers and bufferbeam. 37350 had them retro fitted for conversion back to D6700 :)

But has Split Headcode 'Box'... Sadly, he is after a center box. Is it possable to get rid of the light by making it invisable via alpha channel in the .ace? Just a thought

Hello,

Nice to hear from you too champy.

If made a pic up so you can see what the 37's skirts looked like.

Eye. Deltics had them skirts too. Ollie, Would there be any chance (no rush) of repainting a 47 into 47298. This 47 Holds a special place in my heart as i happened to be driving her the day i became a Grandad. If you cant do her then thats fine.. and like i said no rush... I would love her in the below colours and named 'Eleanor Gunn' after the grandaughter..

Hi Ollie,

Great to see you back, like the 37 & 47 see you haven't lost your touch...

On the subject of the 37's I have 37091/128/239 & the uploaded 240 which should'nt have the headlight so I'll be looking forward to that mod too.. I'll re-upload 37240 when that comes in...

Can I ask for 2 requests please.. 47158 "Henry Ford" (Weathered) &
37043 "Loch Lomond" complete with Scottie dog which I believe were situated under the nameplate.

Should have a few more of my own to upload...

Cheers,
40058.

Hello Steve,

Nice to hear from you,

Yes I can do those, I sent you a PM about a fortnight ago, let me know if you didnt get it.
Could you PM your e-mail address etc, as Ive got some stuff for you.

Its a shame the 37's cant be done with two different ends as 37031 that Ive just done had a SF rebuild on one end with centre headcodes and air horn grilles.

Cheers,

Ollie.

So has 37003. (Whoever put them back on cut through the airbrake pipes in the process, but there you go... all fixed now!)

Yeah, I'd also love to see a non-skirted centre -box '37 without headlight, as it would enable me to recreate an intimate personal moment I had with 37201 some time in the early 1980s... [Is this legal?-Ed.]
