Anyone would think there was an Anglia route coming out to run them on.

Looking good so far... but the interior walls are not wood, they are beige in STD & carpet the same colour as the outside in 1ST. The vestuble ends are white, & seats are red in STD & grey in 1ST. Also why have you changed the bogies, they do normally have red springs until they get dirty but the red is still visable.

On that last picture i posted, look at the last two coaches. that was the start of the interior been redone. :)

im jsut trying to sort out the BSO first and then all the exterior is done.
Just the interior to finish after that.

Perhaps Anton you'd like to explain which part of the copyright notice in the installer that you agreed to you didn't understand?

I was under the impression that permission was required for a repaint and it used to be considered "polite" to ask the authors' permission before displaying a screenshot of what is after all mostly their work..............after all the E Mail addresses are available here on the site and in the readme for the original stock, if you can repaint the coach then surely it's not rocket science to compose an E Mail to the authors' asking permissions etc?

Ok, you've been working on your re-skins longer than Matthew, that's up to the two of you to sort out in the playground.

At this rate no Anglia Mk 2s will be uploaded.

Ok.

Ive decided to stop all the fuss and take down the screenshots and leave the anglia's alone. I hope I havent upset you in any way. I did know that you are not allowed to post screenshots of another repaint, i just thought that you were not allowed to distribute it on ukts without the authors permission.

Apologies once again for what I have done.

Nice coaches there anton, I think you have done a great job on them and i still like those Virgin Mk3's you did a little while back too :). And i have an activity planned for those in the pipeline too . You and buffy (dave) should consider doing some train projects together as you both are good at creating msts stuff :D. A note to Alex (Breedlings) and Andy (snowcrashandy), I don't see any harm it causes to host a screenshot :-?. Like come on it could be worse the coaches could have been uploaded to a website without your consent :-? For goodness sake give the guy a break like why is it such a big deal to host a screenshot of a forthcoming project ? I think i can smell jealousey here. I thought this was an equal and fair msts community here ?

In the equal and fair MSTS community it's also considered polite to ask about ask about repaints unless they're for personal use.

I've had stuff uploaded here without my consent, it's polite for people to say what they're doing, and ever so easy to do via an E Mail.

Accusing me of jealousy, now that's just bizarre. It's a post that started along the lines of "my repaint was first" despite someone elses screenshots appearing.

Happy days

This may not be any reason to you, but I worked for hours one end with these, and then matt was askingme over and over again what can he repaint, Like im supposed to know, so showed him the mk3 buffet which i started and then he came up with the idea of doing mk2.'s, At this point i let him carry on becuase i wanted to see what they would be like.

After looking at them they were not too bad but becuase he had spent less time, he had moved on faster than me. After all the work id put it i really wanted to get them done so i was in a way forced to get them going. Thats why i posted screenshots today.

Now trying not to sound big headed here, but I have asked other people and they agree that my version was the correct colour and better quaility, but when someone comes up and then does a "quick" version and then everyone loves it, its a little dissapointing knowing that all the hard work I put in has been wasted really.

I try to keep all the reksins i do on the "downlow" before get them out. becuase im trying to avoid which use to happen on the "Planned Creattions" forum alot, where by peple would post things and then they never get done. So if you have noticed everytime I repaint a model, i post it a few days before then within the next few days they are out.

Now i know what your going to say, which is i should have asked first and then no one else would have done them, well i was going to ask, but as you may have seen i was trying to get the GNER HST out first.

Anyways im sure there is no damage to your image, the mk.2's are great, but i will be keeping them for personal use on my pc, its just a shame that teh rest of the UKTS community cannot enjoy them too.

That's clearly not my problem and nothing to do with me, it's up to the two of you to sort out what you're doing and whose is better.

I've already said it.

I don't wish to turn this into a flame war, if you feel you need to discuss this further can you do it via a PM.

I was aiming the jealousy topic more at Alex than you andy :). Sorry about that, I should have made it more clear in my last post . The reason why i said jealousy is because Alex (Breedlings) posts he made seemed a bit hostle to Anton repainting these coaches in Anglia livery because of the post he made here in this topic and the other Anglia Mk2 project that 47522 was doing as well :). But if i decide to repaint your coaches in future you will definately get a PM from me for clearence from you first before i go ahead with it .

cheers
