Hull Trains 170

Post by laverack2 »

Could anyone re-paint the reworked class 170 into the new Hull Trains livery? They are becoming a familiar sight on the ECML.

Discussions and images of the new unit can be found in this thread. http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic.php?p=317262

I would have a go but my painting skills are a bit shaky :). Your best bet would be to ask Matrix358 or Have a go at repainting it yourself mate :). But make sure you ask dave babb for approval before uploading it :). If no-one is interested in painting it i'll have a go. But i will need some photographs of it to work from as i don't live near the ECML .

If anyone has pictures of the underframe (side on), please could I have them too? The reason will become clear soon...

I am willing to do the repaint if you provide me the photo's to work from as i have paint shop pro 8 on my PC. Also I am making some revised Class 117 sound sms files too. But you will need the class 50 in V1.2 Update to hear it :). Its amazing what you can hear when you mix class 50 and kiha 31 sounds together . I will post more in another topic about that subject as its not related to this one :).

cheers

Sshhh...it's secret...don't even think about looking for it here

If somebody can get the photos then I'd be more than happy to let them retexture the model into Hull Trains livery (or others) when it is done.

Looking great Jon :)

Can I do the South Central livery 170 when you've completed?

170726 is at Eastbourne all this week for driver training :)

Mind you its going to be re-topped to be a 171 ;) shhh

Central Trains Would be my choice for doing a livery if I may?

The pictures you want of the undersection, how comes you did ask me already?

I have about 15-20 pictures of the undersections of 170's, if thats any use.

Well after someone leaving a message for me on msn, which wasnt too nice, im not going to do the CT 170, becuase i forgot they told me they were doing it. The only one left to do (I think) is Midland Mainline but im not sure. Im going to PM the author and find out about it all. :)

Screw 'em. Do what ever you like (as long as you have the model authors permission.)
