Class 220 / 221 Voyager v2

Post by LucaZone »

In all light hearted fashion, so no seriousness please..........

Who thinks we should force Buffy500 to make a new Class 220 model? :)
Its been on the cards for a long time, as he isnt happy with the current one (which admittedly im slightly to blame, being the first on the forums to point out the mistakes it has, which is not unlike me hehe), and the only thing thats been holding him back is mainly lack of real plans and Virgin fobbing him off with fake ones.

One or 2 of us have also made attempts to assist him in aquisition of such plans, but have also sadly come out fruitless despite great potential.

So this is not only an appeal for community wide assistance to gain those plans to help him, but also a petition that will mean he has no choice but to make a start :D

What do u think?

[Dave u know u love me :D]

If Virgin won't play ball, Perhaps Midland Mainline will be willing to provide plans of their new Merdian units?

Peter, I believe it was turned down because there was already a copy of Daves Voyager skined to the new meridian.

New 'Meridian' Style

Old 'Teal and Tangerine' Style

I guess you have already seen http://www.bombardier.com/en/1_0/img/11427c.gif, or it is out of date?

A 220/221, remodelled?

I'd have one.
Project H2P status: Currently awaiting software to fix PC problems. Got a start on .mkr file, hoping to continue that soon. Wprk should re-commence very soon.

Its not out of date, more a case of not a drawing of a voyager.
I dunno what it is, but I'll eat my kitten if its a 220/221!

Yeah I know, but Re-Skinning the HST into New MML, the colours are a lot darker than the Meridian has, so I Re-Did it like the TPE 158.
But then getting on with a Photo-Real Textured HST, even my colours are wrong, but they'll do for now.
And I didnt hear any word, so thats why I just presumed.

No its not. Its a plan of that concpet image of the early voyager idea. U remember the one thats all silver and its a 3d rendered image of the train sitting in a station. So its plans of a voyager before the voyager was finalised.

Clever way of fobbing of interested people on Virgins part......

But you make it sound like you are going on about the new Meridian Model (i.e. Class 222) and not the HST in the new livery.
