D7672 Tamworth Castle

Post by rufiky4 »

Tamworth Castle in BR Two-Tone Green is in the works, but I don't have either the skills or software to stick the snowploughs on :( . Would anyone be willing to do this please, or should I just release it without snowploughs?

Good to see someone is doing this loco in this livery! i remember seeing it without snowploughs but you could always ask the author of the model to do it for you.

That may pose a minor problem, as the original model author is Mark Shipman... :-?

Sorry chaps i'm right off the computer at the moment, the RSI is really bad, i've been saving my arms for work but I may have to give that up soon as well.

Really sorry to hear that Mark - I hope it gets to the stage where it eases enough for you to be able to carry on a normal life even though its unlikely to go away enough for you to resume your excellent modelling. But then, its not worth the risk of having it flare up again even if it does ease off. There are enough models on here that are a legacy of the quality work and high standards you set on here for others to strive for, so I am sure many others appreciate as much as I, your contribution to train simming. RSI permitting, I hope you are soon feeling better!

Baily9531...

I will package up the 3ds files for the BR/Sulzer type 2's and upload them here, i'm happy to share any of the stuff i've created with the community ( except the Deltic, I still plan to do an updated one someday ), I would be happy to see them developed further.

Dale...

Thanks for your kind comments, its a right pain (pun intended), there's still lots I would like to do, i'd like to think that I can shake it off so that I can do my million polly Deltic for MSTS2, which will of course have such a good 3D engine that the polly count wont be a problem... back to reality now.

I look foward to seeing some new 24/25's.

I stopped working at UCL nearly a year ago, I thought it was about time I stopped using the email account.
