J50 in the workshop

Hi There,
Here is something I am working on, a bit here and a bit there in between other things.
There is still a lot of work to do. I am working from only a sideview drawing and some photos so I hope I am getting the proportions right.

Hope you are ok.
Yup a J50, but work has stalled as I finish off a J36 or 2.
I will finish it promise but I have so much work to do.
The project list with some models such as the J36 in partnership with Cardean
J36
C15/16 ex-NBR
J50
D11/2
CL29 ( a diesel gulp!)
plus I need to prepare some activities for Scottish Central
I would also love to build the following Locos
A fresh New Crab
Super D or G2a
J37
N15 ex-NBR
J83
This could take a couple of years
I hope you have some patience.

LOL Mick! Keep it up. I have a class 29 sat on my HD that Mick Sasse built ages ago. We included it as an AI only with the class 17 pack we did. I did mean to upload an eng file for it to make it drivable, but never got round to it!

Hi Jimmy,
The CL29 will be my first and probably only Diesel. I will be glad of any help while I build it, such as an engfile (creep creep).

probably re-engined, I don't think they kept the originals very long
I will have to see how it goes as there were no doubt some small physical differences between them
I think I will start a new thread when I start building it so you can all help me along with it.

Rick is a realy good man and has been very helpful, the engfiles for the Caley locos are superb and defianately not like driving a Scotsman

If you need any referance pictures for the class 21/29, give me a shout. You can probably make either a 21 or 29 from the same model if you make a couple of interchangable parts in the roof. IIRC they turned a window into a grill too on the 29.
