Hi all,
I have deicided to take the plunge and make a first attempt at building my own loco. I'd like to try building a MR Johnson 3F, but I have no idea where to find drawings. Can anyone suggest where I might find some?

Thanks

Hi There
This is the hard part. The research.
Try Midland Railway locomotive profiles from Wild Swan Publications

Hi Charles,
I've scanned a drawing for you of the loco but I don't have one of the tender.
Apparently there was an awful lot of variations within the class, even the driving wheels had different diameters and the tenders varied as well.
My son bought David Jenkinson and Bob Essery's series on the Midland locomotives so I can at least try to help.
PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you the drawing.
Best wishes.
John.
