Shape File Manager query

Further to my problem with a corrupted TSM file, is it possible to change the Parent of a part within a Shape File using Shape File Manager or alternative program?

You could try making a 3 part shape

No 1 is main.
No 2 parented to main
No 3 parented no 3.

The make another with no 3 parented to main.

Open the shape files and see if you can spot the difference.
