Animation Woes

Post by Nvincer »

Hey All,

I am currently working on a few locomotives for the an upcoming route update, however I have a hit a major problem.

When I export the said locomotive with 8 (9) frames of animation, it refuses to load. Dreaded UID error.

When I export the said locomotive with 0 (1) animation frame it loads fine, although has no animation.

Program, TSM.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Ben

What is the poly and verties count you may need to run it though polymaster and shape fixer if it is to high that is usully what the UID message means.

Hi Dave,

Nothing to do with that I'm afraid, it works fine with 0 frames of animation and the counts aren't that high.

Cheers,

Ben, check your animation lines in F2. The last line 8(?) should read exactly the same as the first line. I have had this sort of problem before - you can also check the animation lines in the .s file where the same rule applies.

Hi guys,

Thanks for your help.

I tried everything, even changing all of the animation entries from -0 to just 0, but no luck.

In the end I just copied and pasted every piece (35 odd pieces) into a new file and exported again, and bang it worked.

I love TSM.

Cheers,

Ben
