Yes I must agree it was a popular loco on the S&D and was used in summer on trains to and from Bournemouth West.

It will come into it's own if Clive the author of BTB carries on with his freeware version of the S&D which will be well recieved,especialy as the current £-$ is so low making possibly the American Payware version to expensive for some of us on limited budgets.

Looking forward to this one :) the quality of your work is always outstanding (as well as other modellers on this forum/site).

Will you be doing several versions, with different numbers?

Thanks for the comment guys i am going to do 88 in blue and 53809 in BR black first then ill look in to differnt variations but untill then another up date the loco has had its frist day in msts today but only to check size and motion still alot to do here is some pics

Unusual to see just the frames of a loco running in msts. Looks good so far mind. keep it up.

With a choice of three (plus a bit of one) potential S&D routes in the not too distant future, and hopefully a reskin for the WSR, this loco is destined to be very well received by the community. Well done again, Dave.

work is progressing well on this and here is another update with its boiler now in the frames its starting to look some thing like but i think there is some bits that are going to need reworking but for now heres what we got so far

here it is almost ready for steaming and a bit running around the yard just have to wait for the tender to arrive late on this week ( its borrowed one from Regs 4F in this pic ) and behind is S&D mate 44422

just to let you all know it has steam today but some more work is requied on the motion i hope to have it ready for testing by thursday nite if any one is interested but i am going to be away from friday to sunday as i am going up to the moors gala so ill see if i can get it ready in time.
