I think the model is now finished, I just need to complete the BR livery, then it's just a matter of tidying it up for release.

22,750 polygons for the loco (which I started in 2004!), 10,100 for the tender - it uses true 32bit colour textures with DXT5 compression

Soon.......

Sorry it took so long to finish off, real life gets in the way...

Enjoy :)

Edit - forgot to add - you need the 2 Cylinder sound set (now added as relationship to the model)

I should also mention Richards (1crick14a) great work with the physics

Here are a few driving tips...

Brakes are supposed to be "Steam Brakes" instead of Vacuum brakes - these are modelled as air brakes in MSTS.
They have a very high pressure and take a while to release. They also come on quite quickly so beware.

Full reverser should only be used to start off, even past 10mph you need to be back to 20 or 30% cutoff to get faster.

hmmmm - the file has vanished from the downloads list - support has been e-mailed :)

For anyone seeing stripes in the shape viewer:
http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 8&t=104964

Is anyone seeing stripes when it is running in MSTS?
(The texture files are "non-standard")

I think that was why the file was removed. There was a support ticket from somebody who does not use the forums. I too get the stripes but was out at the bank when the files was pulled.
Kindest regards
